BERLIN has worked with some of the most famous dancers and theaters in the world, including Kirov Ballet, St. Petersburg, Russia and The National Opera and Ballet in Kiev, Ukraine. BERLIN'S collaboration with Florence Dance Center began more than 15 years ago with a series of figure drawings of classical dancers and culminates this December with "THE END OF THE WORLD."
Curated by Daniela Pronesti and in collaboration with Toscana TV. The opening night will feature new paintings and sculpture of the classical ballet and a performance by the FloDance Corps with choreography by Florence Dance Center's Artistic Director Marga Nativo and Gabriella Secchi. The performance will be followed by a cocktail and dance party.

Il Florence Dance Center è stato fondato nel 1987 da Marga Nativo, già prima ballerina étoilé del Teatro Comunale di Firenze e da Keith Ferrone.
Il Florence Dance Center è nato nel 1987 con l’obiettivo di creare e far vivere l’esperienza completa di un centro polivalente per l’arte della danza aperto a un vasto pubblico, offrendo inoltre un punto di riferimento socio-culturale. Alla base di un programma completo e aperto a tutti, si trovano, da un lato i valori della tradizione dell’arte della danza che tendono alla conservazione della disciplina della danza classica accademica, e dall’altro quelli, altrettanto importanti, dell’efficace insegnamento della danza contemporanea come linguaggio di oggi. La costante contaminazione con le altre arti, come la musica, la pittura, la fotografia, la scultura e la prosa, offre ai nostri frequentatori e visitatori la possibilità di sentire che la tradizione delle arti è protetta e che, allo stesso tempo, la contemporaneità è effervescente.
